JOHN LOUFIK, Senior Applications Engineer
*Professional Background*
John Loufik joined Community's Technical Applications Group in March of 2006. Loufik is responsible for providing technical support, applications and systems design assistance to the company's wide range of consultants, dealers, representatives and end users.Loufik came to Community after operating Capernaum Systems as an independent audio design consultant and practitioner in the New Jersey area. He serviced venues of all types specializing in Houses of Worship. His interest and training in audio began in high school where he operated and installed audio systems at his local church and has continued to do so to the present. Part-time, Loufik has been active with IATSE Local 8 in the Philadelphia area. Working along with talented engineers in various capacities on a variety of House of Worship projects, he learned the ropes of audio from a hands-on perspective.
He is a graduate of Asbury College and Syn-Aud-Con, and earned a CAD degree to support his use of EASE and Ulysses for electro-acoustical system modeling. Having served as an Assistant Pastor and in other ministry roles in his local church, John offers a unique understanding of the needs of audio systems from both sides of the pulpit. He offers a wide range of expertise regarding a variety of types of venues both in Houses of Worship and outside the world of church AV.
*CHURCH AFFILIATION *
Currently John attends Grace Bible Church , a small farming community congregation near Elmer , NJ where John assists Deacons responsible for the audio system on technical issues. Previously, John has been part of similar size and larger United Methodist congregations where he held key roles in operating and maintaining the audio and video systems.
