Ana I. Berdecia was raised in the church and began singing for the Lord at age 11.  She accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior during a youth retreat at the age of 15.   For the last nine years, Ana has been an active member of Calvary Full Gospel Church where she participates in various ministries such as: the praise team, the intercession groups, the prayer chain, and the hospital visitation team. She has also lead Bible studies and devotionals for the congregation, the women's ministries and the Northeast Worship Institute.   Ana studied a variety of dance genres throughout high school and college and participated in a local folkloric dance group in Trenton, New Jersey. In 2001, Ana was introduced to praise dance using flags, streamers, and tambourines by Shachah Ministry and was part of the Calvary Dance Team for three years under the leadership of Jennifer Howard.  Ana has been married to Enrique Berdecia  Jr. for 22 years and they have two sons Adan (21) and Gabriel (18). Her favorite Bible chapter is Psalm 27 particularly verses 5 and 6 that states, "For in the time of trouble He shall hide me in His pavilion; in the secret place of His tabernacle He shall hide me; He shall set me high upon a rock. Therefore I will offer sacrifice of joy in His tabernacle; I will sing, yes, I will sing praises to the Lord." These words have provided her with comfort and in that secret place she has found revelation and pure worship.
